1959 Gibson Brydland
1959 Gibson Brydland in a rare Natural finish. One of Gibson’s finest Jazz guitars, the Gibson Byrdland combines all of the great features of a traditional archtop in a comfortable, easy to play thin body. A high-end instrument with all of the appointments of the L-5, including a solid carved Spruce top and gorgeous flamed Maple back and sides. This example is in lovely condition with some checking and signs of aging, but overall solid and a fantastic player. Old refret, replaced nut, replaced bridge tone pot, and a non-original vintage ABR-1 bridge. The original early PAF pickups sound unreal with an unparalleled warmth and clarity. A beautiful old Gibson with a smooth vintage tone! Includes original hardshell case.
